London!

I have wanted to visit London my entire life. Today I set foot in the city for the first time and I loved it. So needless to say we arrived here safely from Tajkistan, and even managed to all sleep through the night, which is remarkable given jet lag. Seeing the great city was unforgettable, but the other noteworthy event of the day was deciding a couple seconds too late to exit from the London Underground (subway). 5 of us were off the train and 3 of us still on board when the doors started to close. I jammed my arms between the doors and managed to pry it open long enough for Joni, Chloe and Hannah to get off, minus one Hannah shoe. Thankfully a kind, observant passenger spotted the lone shoe and tossed it off the train, just as the doors closed. It took us all a few moments to recover, but we were thankful to all be together, with our shoes.

More soon! I'm a bit tired from the stress of sticker shock. Papa Johns last night cost $60 for three pizzas. Ouch.
