Over the Atlantic!

Blake emailed when he got to London to say he'd arrived safely from Bishkek, and was minutes away from boarding his flight to Washington Dulles.

The "WELCOME HOME" banner is hung and excitement is in the air. We did it! We made it through the first long separation of 2008.

Two days ago I fell into my favorite chair in my room, opened up my Bible and asked God to please refresh me because "my cup was empty." As I read the words of Luke chapter 5 He did just that. The verse about God knowing what I need before I ask simply jumped off the page. I said, "Well, then, you must know how I need energy, strength, patience, love for my kids.....enough to get through this day."

I felt refreshed before I left my chair. He was faithful to give me what I needed. And today I remember that He's been faithful to give me and the kids what we have needed these past three weeks.

God is good, all the time. Now just 7 hours and 21 minutes to go, but who's counting? (-;
